We are based in Singapore and were initially established in 2013 as Olympus Capital Asia Credit. In 2020, the management team executed a buyout and rebranded the platform as Orion Capital Asia.

Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (“OMERS”), a defined benefit pension plan for municipal employees in the province of Ontario in Canada, is an equity investor in Orion. As at December 31, 2024, OMERS had US$97 billion in net assets.​​​​​

Our limited partners include blue-chip institutional investors from the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea, as well as one of the world's leading development finance institutions.

To date, we have completed more than 50 investments across the Asia-Pacific region. We have deployed over US$1.3 billion from our fund vehicles and over US$2.3 billion including our co-investors, where we acted as sole arranger and anchor investor.

In 2026, we were recognized as Runner-Up for "Lender of the Year - Asia-Pacific" at the Private Debt Investor awards 2025, the flagship category.

​​​​​​In 2021, we were awarded “Best of the Best Midcap Private Debt House” in the Best Asset Managers by Korean Investors 2020 awards by The Korea Economic Daily. The award is based on ranking of global managers and not limited to Asian managers.
